1. Firstly if your child is attending with a friend then the likelihood is that they want to be in the same group. There are 3 main groups (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced). Basic is for boys that are new to the game aged mainly 6 to 8 years old. Intermediate is for boys that are in the B team or below at school who have a grasp on the basics but need match practice and game specific skills drills to improve. Advanced is for good cricketers who are in the A team at school.

2. Yes we can pass on that information. If you have a list of his friends’ names we can confirm whether they are on the course or not. We can also tell you exactly how many boys from each school are attending.

5. Entertainment will be provided so we strongly recommend that all children attend when it rains. We have lost very few days to rain and we always make every effort to get some cricket in at some stage. If however you are happy for your child to stay at home, then that too is not a problem. HOWEVER NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN IN THE EVENT OF RAIN.

6.They should bring any cricket equipment that they may have. There is kit for them to borrow should they need to. If they are playing with a hard ball please make sure that your child wears the appropriate UNDERWEAR to hold a cricket box.

7.There is no dress code. A slight majority of boys wear whites.

8.There is a vending machine that does have a few snacks available. We however recommend that all boys bring a packed lunch with them.

9. Julie Quester – Junior Club Co-ordinator 0208 9708092. I must however advise that the only age group where they may be able to take on new members is U7. There are waiting lists on all the other age groups. If your child is already 7, or turns 7 before the 1 st September then there may be a chance of them joining the club.

10. Once you have completed the on line booking form you should receive an email providing you with a booking reference number. You will then receive a quick email to confirm that we have received your payment and this is final confirmation that your child is booked on.

11. You need to speak to the course organiser Sean or the Head coach of the group that your son was in. Some boys are shy and do not want to make a fuss, so please make sure that you ask your child how the course went after the first day. If there is a problem we will make sure that your child moves group immediately on the following day.

12. You will need to make sure that your child is ticked off on the register. Please look out for Sean who will be running the registers and get your child’s name ticked off. They will then go and place their lunch and any other belongings in the change room. Once they have done this they are then required to go and join in one of the activities that will be taking place on the outfield or astro-turf. For the following days they will have their names ticked off by their Head Coach, so there is no need for you to find Sean.

13. The boys will usually be gathered together by the clubhouse. Please come and collect them from there and make sure that the coach has ticked their name off on the register too.

14. We try and hand out lost property on the last day before prize giving starts. Otherwise the kit will be left at the Wimbledon Club, where you can collect it from.

15. We try to have a 1:10 ratio of coaches to children wherever possible.
